Michael Roberts Williams

Michael Roberts Williams grew up just outside Manchester, he moved to London with his camera after he got his photography degree. Michael is still based in London and has since made a name for himself doing music portraiture. He has done photographs of people such as; The Killers, Kasabian, La Roux, Ian Brown, Ellie Goulding, Pixie Lott, Biffy Clyro, and Kaiser Chiefs. He has also done portraits of celebrities in film, music and sport.
Over the years Michael’s portraits have been published in Filter, Clash, Uncut, Time, Die Zeit, 944, FMS and NME. He has also produced artwork and images for record labels and artist management. As well as all of this he has done some work for commercial clients such as; Philips, Adidas and American Rag Clothing. And on top of all this he has written a book called Chromatic which is out now.

Micheal Roberts' photos are portraits of the artists, and are all posed which allows the artists to be portrayed in any way they like.

Benjamin Harte
Benjamin Harte is based in London and specialises in digital photography of classical music. He also does; Orchestra/ Stage, Portraits, Book Covers, Corporate and Wedding photography. When he takes a photograph for a Book Cover he has his own style which is aimed for the genre of Thrillers, he creates an eerie mystery feel about the book.

He started as a music photographer whilst working as a classical musician, and because of being a musician it meant that he can understand the subject a lot better than any other photographer, and can therefore get some more interesting photos. Benjamin works in the studio, on location and as a reportage photographer.

Benjamin Harte's photos are a mix of both posed and live photos but they include the atrist playing their instrument. This then doesn't feel as though the artist is trying to be something they are not, they are just being themself.
